Funhouse Studios

Welcome to Funhouse Studios website! Funhouse is not a new Nashville recording studio; in fact we have operated in the heart of Nashville’s famous Music Row area for many years. It’s our recent reconstruction and renovation that makes Funhouse seem like a new recording studio. We added a second studio room for mixing and overdubbing, including state-of-the-art Pro-Tools HD-3 equipment with tons of plug-ins, Control-24 console along with a new vocal/overdub booth, all waiting to help you finish your recording projects. Of course, we still have our original recording room, fully equipped for tracking with a great Yamaha C-7 grand piano, a wonderful A-100 Hammond organ and 251 Leslie, and a great set of Yamaha recording drums.

Funhouse Studios has hosted recording sessions for country music stars George Jones, Georgette Jones, Patty Loveless, Englebert Humperdink, Doug Stone, Hal Ketchum, Cledus T. Judd, Terry Blackwood and the Imperials, Daryle Singletary, Paul Overstreet, Ken Mellons, winners of Coyote Ugly TV show and many others. Hit songwriters who record their demos at Funhouse Studios include BMI Songwriter of the Year Wynn Varble, Karen Staley, Stephony Smith, Dave Gibson, Mark Sherrill, Paul Overstreet, Wood Newton, Chip Davis, and Jim Vest.
